Gulf Shores

In January, 2009, Saunders Yachtworks expanded operations to Gulf Shores, AL, with the opening of the new Corporate Headquarters at Mile 155.5 of the Intra-Coastal Waterway.

The new 15,000 sq. ft. building includes a new customer service area, administrative offices, mechanical shop and parts warehouse.

10,000 sq ft Works Building

Saunders Yachtworks’ fully enclosed high-rise works building provides premium space for paint and restoration projects. Within the works building there are two 5000 square foot clear spaces and a roof height of 35 feet to accommodate yacht towers. Safety was taken into consideration when building the works building; therefore it is a dust-controlled area with explosion-proof lighting. Attached to the works building is a 1500 square foot carpentry shop, which is fully equipped with the most up-to-date carpentry equipment.

60 ton Travelift

We can dock vessels over 70 feet in overall length and 21 feet 6 inches abeam. The lift is well-maintained and secure. Our experienced lift crew is adept at lifting and launching vessels of all type and size.

Bottom-Servicing Work Pad

We are equipped with a specially designed bottom-servicing work pad, created to be environmentally friendly by recapturing 100% of the effluents. This work pad enables us to operate at maximum production allowing for the daily increase of vessel turnover in the yacht yard. It also allows for safe vessel transfer and blocking.
